Specialist IT company Metalogic PLC is seeking to achieve even higher standards of performance by taking part in IiE’s prestigious excellence programme.
Based in Warwick, the business is the UK’s biggest supplier of integrated software systems to the metals industry.
As part of its continuous improvement process, Metalogic has committed to achieve the Investors in Excellence Standard, a mark of excellence awarded to organisations demonstrating high levels of all-round business performance.
Ian Nield, chief executive of Investors in Excellence, said: “Metalogic’s commitment demonstrates a clear focus on continuous improvement by its management team. It’s a very testing Standard which examines the way the business is run and the results it achieves. Its breadth also makes it a very powerful improvement tool.”
Metalogic, which employs 26 people, will be seeking to emulate companies such as BMW, Veolia and Concentric which have all achieved the Investors in Excellence Standard.
Leigh Harrison, managing director of Metalogic, said: “The Standard is already enabling us to identify good practice that will benefit our customers and drive our business forward.”
Metalogic, which has its head office on Warwick Technology Park, develops, implements and supports a range of software, hardware and network products specifically designed to meet the needs of steel, aluminium, special alloys and non-ferrous-metals businesses.
