The Midlands Excellence Awards Ceremony is quite simply the Midlands’ biggest and best awards event of the year. This prestigious black-tie event recognises the excellent all-round performance of organisations across the Midlands and is a superb occasion to entertain clients, staff or suppliers.

Through the decades Sir Ranulph Fiennes has continued to amaze and inspire others with relentless endeavours of strength, drive and determination, which have led to a multitude of endurance records.
Sir Ranulph has led 22 major expeditions to remote parts of the world including both Poles. In 2003, only 3½ months after suffering a massive heart attack and double bypass operation, he ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. His most recent expedition was in May 2009, when at the age of 65, he climbed to the summit of Mount Everest.
Sir Ranulph’s efforts have raised more than £14 million for UK charities. He also finds time to write and is the author of 18 books.
