Organisation committed to excellence awarded Chartered Insurance Brokers status

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has awarded the prestigious ‘Chartered Insurance Brokers’ title to Ingram Hawkins & Nock Ltd (IHN), one of the leading providers of insurance advice and support.

Ian Nield, Chief executive of Investors in Excellence commented: “IHN has been a strong supporter of excellence for many years and so we are delighted to see their efforts and commitment being recognised by a professional body in their sector.”

Chartered status is an exclusive title only awarded to firms who not only satisfy rigorous criteria relating to professional qualifications, but who are also committed to developing and maintaining the knowledge and capability of their people, allowing them to deliver the highest quality advice.

All Chartered Insurance Brokers commit to the CII’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings, placing clients’ interests at the heart of the advice they give.

Liz Foster, Managing Director of IHN, says that securing Chartered Insurance Brokers status is a landmark for her company: “We have always prided ourselves on being thoroughly professional in everything we do, and to receive external recognition in this way is very gratifying. The corporate Chartered title is a commitment to an overall standard of excellence and professionalism, and evidence of that commitment to our clients, partners and employees.

It means our clients can be confident that they are dealing with one of the UK’s leading firms and that we are wholly committed to providing them with the best possible advice, service and support.”

To date, less than 100 firms have achieved status as Chartered brokers, indicating that this is a highly exclusive award reserved for the leading firms of the broking industry.

Congratulations once again to IHN on their fantastic achievement!
