Built Environment Hub – Planning for uncertain times !

BEH-EventInvestors in Excellence are looking forward to taking part in another event with Constructing Excellence (CE) and its Midlands Partner, the Built Environment Hub (BEH).

This is a free breakfast event, which will take place at Donington Court, Pegasus Business Park, East Midlands, DE74 2UZ on Tuesday 24th January 2017 starting at 8:30 and finishing at 11.

A number of running themes will be introduced in 2017 which will help small businesses and other members to offset future uncertainty.

Come along to hear the latest news on Brexit and the East Midlands Construction Market and what Tools and Techniques are available to help lessen the impact in a changing market by improving what you do and how you deliver.

James Walmsley of Turner and Townsend. James will be talking about Brexit 2017.

Thomas Elliott, Technical Manager for EOS Facades, a company who specialise in offsite manufacture of steel framing systems, load-bearing structures and modular applications across all sectors of the built environment. Thomas has over 10 years’ experience in the cold rolled industry and benefits from wealth of knowledge garnered from roles including design, engineering, sales and technical. He has been involved in all stages of the build process and specialises in technical assistance and design co-ordination helping to deliver excellent customer service both at designer level and boots-on-the-ground stages. Beginning his career as a CAD draughtsman and steel framing designer in 2006, Thomas graduated from a sponsored Coventry University course in 2011 achieving a first class honours degree in Architectural Design Technology. He then progressed his career into field sales where his knowledge of the technical side of the industry helps to enable market share growth whilst ensuring customer satisfaction. With EOS Facades since mid-2014, Thomas’ role sees him attending design co-ordination meetings and providing on-site assistance or inspections. As a strong believer in innovative ways of working, Thomas also helps the company to develop new products and applications to bring to the market.
