Congratulations to Seven Locks Housing for achieving the Investors in Excellence Standard

“Any company looking to improve their customer service and achieve excellent performance should work towards the Investors in Excellence Standard.  It is an invaluable tool which relies on the whole team focussing on what matters most.  We are already looking forward to re-certification!”

Seven Locks Housing is part of the Acclaim group formed in 2007. As a registered charity the organisation provides 2,100 affordable homes across the Harborough District in Leicestershire for those in the local community in need, for older people or people with a disability.

Since its formation, the organisation has worked hard to transform its customers’ homes and the communities in which they operate.

Deborah Bennett (pictured left), Executive Director at Seven Locks Housing, said “We are extremely proud of our team and the excellence journey that we have taken together. This journey has resulted in improved homes and services for our customers as well as successfully gaining certification against the Investors in Excellence Standard.”

Preparing for the Investors in Excellence Standard assessment has enabled Seven Locks Housing to consolidate and celebrate all their achievements in just the four years since formation.

Deborah Bennett continued, “Our assessment recognises that there is real pride in the achievements of the organisation - much of our success can be related to a wide ranging cultural change, a strong customer focus as well as an overall approach and belief in continuous improvement.

“Being certificated against the Standard is a measure and recognition of the positive impact that our culture of continuous improvement has on our customers, keeping their needs at the very heart of what we do.”

More than 25% of Seven Locks customers are involved in directing and improving the organisation’s services helping to develop successful partnerships to improve the lives of customers and the local communities. In a recent STATUS survey 92% of customers said that overall they are satisfied with the landlord services provided by Seven Locks.

Deborah Bennett concluded “Meeting the requirements of the Standard represents all our peoples’ continuous commitment and hard work and willingness to embrace change. I am really proud of what we have all achieved together and so pleased to have our approach and focus endorsed.”
