Investors in Excellence is proud to recognise Two Rivers Housing

Investors in Excellence is extremely pleased to annouce that Two Rivers Housing has achieved the Investors in Excellence Standard.

Two Rivers Housing is one of the major housing providers working in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, managing over 3,600 high quality homes for single people, families, older people and key workers in the region. The charity employs 135 staff to manage their work. Two Rivers Housing was created in 2003 from the stock transfer from Forest of Dean District Council

Two Rivers Housing manages and maintains our customers’ homes and has an extensive planned improvements programme which includes kitchen and bathroom upgrades, central heating improvements and external work. Community investment is key for this organisation and they have worked proactively within local community groups and Community Forums have sprung up as a result.

Our work with Investors in Excellence has been a valuable corporate approach which has enabled us to acknowledge our strengths, continued investment in our staff and our commitment to continuous improvement. This approach will benefit our organisation and in turn provide more effective services to our customers.

This framework for identifying and building on existing practices has helped support the organisation increase staff awareness of our corporate vision and values as well as engage with our staff which has resulted in improved staff satisfaction. We hope that by working from the inside out we will also increase our customer satisfaction.
