Congratulations to CSWP on becoming an Investor in Excellence

Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Partnership (CSWP) unites all sectors of the area’s economy with the common aim of working together to support economic development and regeneration creating investment, jobs and a better life for everyone in Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire.

The partnership includes private, public, education and voluntary agencies working together for the growth of the community. CSWP’s vision is “Investment, jobs and a better life for everyone in Coventry and Warwickshire” and to this end CSWP support economic development and regeneration across the sub-region, giving local people a strong voice in their future prosperity.

Steve Stewart, Executive Director at CSWP commented, “Working towards Investors in Excellence (IiE) Standard enabled us to explore our strengths and identify opportunities to improve together. We identified and shared many examples of good practice enabling the whole organisation to grow together.”

The IiE Standard encourages a positive approach to self assessment yet it is realistic about identifying areas for improvement and setting targets against which progress can be measured.

Mr Stewart then went on to say, “Achieving the IiE Standard has provided a positive focus in a time of change and uncertainty. It demonstrates our strong capability enabling us to recognise that, collectively with our partners, we have a set of competences to take us into the future. We have identified factors that are critical to the success of our business: sound management of finance and risk, excellent service delivery, highly competent staff, client focus and effective partnership working.”
